Technical SEO

Help buyers reach the pages that matter.

A useful service page cannot win customers if search engines cannot index it or old links lead nowhere. We find and fix technical SEO issues affecting your important pages, then check that buyers can reach them and take action.

Keep customers connected when your website changes.

A redesign should preserve the routes customers and search engines already use. We plan redirects, internal links and indexing checks around your new site so important pages remain reachable after the move.

A migration should preserve the paths people already use.

  • Map existing pages to their new destinations.
  • Fix broken paths and conflicting page versions.
  • Check the live links, indexing settings and shopping journey.

Help search engines reach your important pages.

Make priority pages accessible.

Review access and indexing signals alongside the website structure. Separate pages that should be found from URLs that serve a different purpose.

  • Crawler access and response codes
  • Indexing directives and XML sitemaps
  • Links to priority service and location pages

Keep old links useful when pages move.

Map changed URLs to relevant destinations, implement agreed redirects and resolve conflicting page versions. Check the links and templates that use those addresses so the customer can continue to the right information.

  • Preferred URLs and duplicate patterns
  • Migration and redirect mapping
  • Template and navigation dependencies

Implement and verify the fixes.

Prioritize by affected pages, business importance and effort. We implement the agreed fixes, coordinate changes owned by your team and verify the work before release.

  • Findings with affected URLs and supporting checks
  • Assigned fixes and developer requirements
  • Release checks and follow-up review

Know what needs fixing and what was checked.

Your team receives the affected URLs, prioritized changes and a record of the checks performed.

Each recommendation explains why it matters, who needs to act and how to check the result.

What we need from your team

  • Access to the website and Search Console where available
  • Your priority services, locations and planned changes
  • A development contact and an agreed route to implementation

Sample technical handoff

Keep an old service link working after the page moves.

A prospect follows a link saved before your redesign. The service still exists, so the old address should take them to its relevant replacement.

Map
Record the old address, the new destination and the person responsible for the change.
Implement
Set the direct redirect, update internal links and confirm the preferred page address.
Verify
Open the old link, check the final page and test its inquiry action on desktop and mobile.

Grasshopper Club: two ecommerce migrations.

We supported the move from Blaze to Sweed, then Sweed 1.0 to 2.0. URL redirects, sitemaps, catalog improvements and analytics were part of the work, followed by support after the migrations.

Questions about this SEO service.

Will you implement the fixes or work with our developer?

We can implement agreed technical fixes or coordinate with your existing developer. Before work begins, we assign ownership for each change. You receive the affected URLs, requirements and checks needed to complete work handled by another provider.

What access do you need?

Depending on the issue, we may need access to your website, Search Console, analytics or hosting, plus a contact for your developer. We confirm what is necessary for the agreed work and use delegated access where the platform supports it.

How do you verify that the fixes worked?

We repeat the relevant checks after implementation: redirects and response codes, internal links, indexing settings and affected customer actions. We document what changed and any remaining issues. Removing a technical obstacle does not guarantee that a search engine will index or rank the page.

Is this the same as a speed audit?

Performance is one part of technical SEO. This work also examines access, indexing, duplicate URLs and site structure. Focused speed work has its own scope when loading or responsiveness is the main problem.

Will every issue in an automated report be fixed?

A tool report is a starting point. We verify the findings and prioritize what matters for the website and business. Some flags are low impact, intentional or outside the agreed scope.
