Make the specialization unmistakable.

CLS needed to explain its background investigation expertise to public safety hiring teams. We built a WordPress site around those buyers’ questions.

After the initial launch, we added dedicated police and firefighter pages. Each page explains the relevant service and offers a next step for that audience. This case documents the site and service paths delivered; it does not claim a measured increase in leads.

Make specialist services easy to navigate.

A separate path for fire and EMS hiring.

Fire chiefs and hiring boards have their own questions about candidate screening, department capacity and who makes the final decision. We built the firefighter page around those concerns, with its own imagery, service explanation and inquiry path.

Both pages explain the value of investigator-led screening while preserving the department’s hiring authority. Each audience can explore the relevant service without sorting through a generic list of background checks.
