BigCommerce

Make a complex catalog easier to buy from.

Help buyers compare products in a complex catalog. We build BigCommerce storefronts with organized categories, specifications and purchasing options suited to your retail or wholesale business.

Put the buying details beside the product.

Help buyers compare models, condition and specifications without searching through disconnected pages. We build product templates around the details that determine whether an item fits.

A buyer comparing equipment on a phone still needs useful model information and a clear next action. We check the mobile catalog, product pages and agreed purchase journey.

Connect your catalog, storefront and buying process.

Structure the catalog.

We build category and product-page layouts that bring product attributes, images and buying details together. Navigation, search and filtering are shaped around how your customers find and compare products.

  • Category structure and product-page templates
  • Product attributes, search and filters
  • Responsive storefront development

Support the buying relationship.

We build the agreed customer and purchase journeys, including the account or pricing requirements your business needs. For wholesale features such as buyer permissions, quotes or invoice workflows, we confirm the required platform edition and integration scope before implementation.

  • Retail and business customer journeys
  • Account access and purchasing rules
  • Quote and order requirements

Connect stores and systems.

We define where product, pricing, customer and order information is maintained, then implement and test the connections included in your project. ERP connections and additional storefronts are scoped around the systems and teams that will run them.

  • Clear ownership of catalog and order data
  • Agreed connections and synchronization checks
  • ERP or additional-storefront scope where needed

A working catalog and a tested buying journey.

You receive a built storefront with agreed catalog structure, category and product templates, purchase-journey checks and a team handoff. We agree migration work, buyer features, system connections and recurring platform costs before development.

Before choosing the platform.

Can retail and wholesale customers use the same platform?

BigCommerce supports both use cases. The setup depends on account permissions, pricing and checkout requirements; B2B Edition adds dedicated business-purchasing tools.

Will our ERP connect automatically?

We assess the available connection, data ownership and synchronization requirements. We confirm whether your systems can exchange the required information and what setup is needed.

Can you migrate our existing catalog and content?

We assess products, categories, variants, pricing, customer data and content before agreeing what can move. The plan identifies cleanup, URL redirects, system dependencies and buying journeys to test. Data that cannot transfer directly needs an agreed alternative.

Which platform and integration costs are separate?

BigCommerce subscriptions, paid apps, themes and external integration or payment-provider charges are separate from our project fee. We review the proposed configuration and recurring costs with you before approval, including any additional storefront or business-buying requirements.

Will our team be able to manage the store after launch?

Your handoff covers the agreed catalog, category and content tasks, with a walkthrough for the people maintaining them. We identify which updates belong in BigCommerce and which belong in connected systems. Ongoing support and new features are agreed separately.

What affects the cost and timeline of a BigCommerce build?

Catalog complexity, retail and wholesale requirements, storefronts, integrations and migration effort shape the scope. Access, clean product data and timely approvals also affect delivery. We agree milestones and clarify dependencies before development begins.

How should your catalog work for different buyers?

The right commerce setup needs to fit your products, customers and operations. Start with how your business sells.
