Grasshopper Club / Ecommerce migration

How Grasshopper Club more than doubled its website traffic.

From 2,000 to 5,000 monthly visits during the initial engagement. Ecommerce migrations, local SEO and digital marketing helped more shoppers find the dispensary and its products.

Products shoppers couldn’t find.

After opening in Logan Square, Grasshopper Club needed better product discovery and local visibility. Its embedded Blaze menu limited search access to products and categories.

We supported two ecommerce migrations to improve shopping and integrations with email, SMS and loyalty, then continued digital marketing support after the moves.

Two migrations. A better shopping experience.

The work began with a move to Sweed and later continued with the transition from Sweed 1.0 to Sweed 2.0.

Make products discoverable.

For the move from Blaze to Sweed, we configured a reverse proxy so product, category and menu pages could be indexed by search engines. Redirects, sitemaps and catalog work supported the transition.

Recover visibility after an upgrade.

After a later ecommerce upgrade disrupted search visibility, Grasshopper Club brought us back. We supported the Sweed 2.0 migration and resolved DNS, website configuration and duplicate-content issues.

Turn a better catalog into a better path to purchase.

Connect old URLs with the new store.
We handled URL redirects and sitemaps so existing links led to relevant destinations and search engines could discover the updated pages.
Improve product discovery.
Catalog improvements supported clearer browsing and easier management of the online product selection.
Keep performance measurable.
Website analytics and post-migration digital marketing support helped the team understand customer activity and plan further improvements.

Paid media campaigns paired branded banner ads with seasonal promotions, including 4/20 and Green Wednesday. The creative carried Grasshopper Club’s identity and offers into its digital advertising.

More visibility—and a recovery worth showing.

During the initial three-month engagement, monthly website traffic grew from 2,000 to 5,000 visits. Product-related rankings grew to more than 750, including over 120 in the top three. A later upgrade interrupted that progress; our return focused on repairing the ecommerce and search setup. The historical Semrush estimates below show the loss and subsequent recovery.
